I used to live down the street from the Sweet Melissa bakery & I was absolutely obsessed with the butterscotch pudding there. I think the bakery version is better, but nobody else at the table knew that. […]

I was so glad to see another post from you. It had been a while and I was a bit concerned…Glad to see you are more than ok. I loved your interview. I was a bit interested in the Sweet Melissa Cookbook, but now after your interview, I am very excited about it. You ask great questions and I did truly enjoy it. No shocker coming from you though. Take good care of yourself !!!

Hopefully little man will come in time and we will get to see you in May!

I was so anxious for a new post from you! Love the photo of the garden. Well, I love all photos your husband takes but that’s specially precious. The contrast is gorgeous. I can’t believe that you tackled your kitchen counters while pregnant. You are one brave woman. Good for you! I haven’t had a chance to get my hands on Melissa’s book but I’ve been reading a lot about it through other bloggers. the scones look delicious, that’s for sure. I am a visual person too and I need a book with quality photos otherwise I know I’m not going to read it. I have several that I don’t think I have ever opened and it’s due to the lack of pictures. Sad but true.
Take care of yourself!

Making good pastries at home has always been one of my goals – as of yet I am still working on it.
