Could you substitute dried for fresh apricots when out-of season? Any tips?

Thanks, Ashley. I assumed the lemon juice should go into the apricot puree, like in Jeni’s roasted strawberry & buttermilk ice cream recipe. I have already done two batches of yours: great stuff!

I just tried it with plums too and I loved it! The recipe has been changed to reflect that the lemon juice should be added when the fruit puree is stirred in to the base.
