This cake really surprised me. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. It’s actually quite addictive, you keep going for more slices because the perfect mix of chocolate and peanut butter, the crispy texture, the sweet and the salty just make your taste buds ask for more. It’s also incredibly fast and easy to make.

You could! You may want to add more marshmallows for ‘glue’. Or just find another rice krispie treat recipe (feel free to brown the butter even if they don’t suggest it) and use the method here for turning it into a towering cake.

I love the idea of rice krispie cakes! Happy birthday to your 10 year old. I went through similar thoughts when my boy turned 10 back in January although I could never have voiced them so beautifully.
