So many great things happening… I totally relate to the nesting part. I was the same way and my husband thought I was going insane! I love those photos. You are one lucky woman to have a husband photographer. They are too cute! And your garden… wonderful.

There was a lot I could identify with. I too am an artisan baker, self taught, bread being my focus. When you said you felt sheepish at not having formal training, I thought, gee, it doesn’t look like it hurt her any, then realized that people say the same thing about me. I suppose I should accept their compliments. 🙂 I am a mother of 3, all school-age, but I do feel that pressure of wanting to spend time with my children and also wanting to delve further into the craft of bread-making. There is so much to know and I feel like I’m still just at the tip of the ice-berg! I am currently able to work out of a commercial set-up in my home, supplying the farmer’s market and two local shops with bread. I want to do more, but I’m not sure if now is the right time to expand (I’m thinking in terms of the economy). Sorry for the little digression there…it was just nice to find someone I could identify with!

I am so excited for you. I know exactly what you mean when it comes to the nesting. With my last boy, I decided that our furniture needed to be moved from the living room out to our porch right away. My husband worked nights so he was unable to help, so imagine a 9 month pregnant woman lugging two couches out some French doors. It was quite a site.. I probably would have freaked out on any other mom to be if she had done that, but I saw absolutely no problems with this at the time! Go figure. I am so envious of your beautiful farm. You want some farm hands? You would get akick out of my boys:)
Have fun nesting and enjoy this wonderful time:)
Carrie
