I just came across your site and I absolutely love it. Its nice to find a fellow (ex)pastry chef and west wing nut (thank god for netflix!). I’d recommend The Newsroom and Madam Secretary to try and fill the void.

We made a yummy version of these cookies… (we used mascarpone mixed with a jigger of good bourbon,a 1/2 teaspoon of Madagascar bourbon vanilla bean paste a pinch of salt & crushed candy canes). They were enjoyed by all ages.

I’ve never had a joe joe before, but I’m craving these. I love peppermint and chocolate any time of the year, but especially around the holidays. These look amazing.
