I hope your trip is fantastic. It was so special to visit Norway, where my family is from, for the first time several years ago. Even when one has grown up with elements of the heritage by relatives at home, actually being in the country makes it come alive even more vividly. Looking forward to hearing about the trip and seeing photos.
The chickpeas sound excellent too!

Thank you, this looks lovely and I am looking forward to trying it. I actually have never tried making Caesar salad before because of the high calories.

Ha! Ashley - you caught me in transition...I'd taken a hiatus from blogging for 6 months, and have literally just opened the doors on a new blog site. I just might take you up on that offer for your parents' farm...'slong as you don't think me creepy...was it creepy that I just said that? ;-)

You are such a gem, Ashley--I have all of this in my fridge, and now I know what's for dinner tomorrow night. (And lunch the following day!) Thanks for making my 15 minute dinner too.

[...] Thanks to the recent thaw that’s hit Portland, I’ve started wanting something spring-like for dessert. To save time and money I decided to use what I had around the kitchen, which happened to be fruit, sugar, and tea. While there are a few things that can be made with that, I decided that the best dessert to experiment with would be sorbet. The following recipe is modified from the raspberry, honey, and black tea sorbet recipe here: http://notwithoutsalt.com/2009/05/18/ice-cream-and-sorbet-without-a-machine [...]
