A dark chocolate cake and mint?!?! Love! However, I found myself saying “yes yes yes” to everything you wrote. “made sense for the scene but not for my family” – I feel like we are in process of figuring that out as our kids have changed the game. After feeling depleted on 12/26, we retrospectively see what we need to say ‘no’ to next year. I don’t care much about decorating, and we don’t go overboard with gifts at all, but we still aren’t getting it quite right. I love that every day is new and we can try better next time.
