See snowball. See snowball hit child. This is how we’ve been spending our Thanksgiving week.
Snow ball fights, a continues pot of apple cider bubbling on the stove ready to sluff off the chill and a immense amount of gratitude for having a warm home.
Right now I’m making the last additions to my grocery list and eagerly planning out my additions to the two Thanksgiving meals we will be attending over the next couple of day.
I will be making Brioche rolls using the recipe from Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery That Revolutionizes Home Baking
A variation of these sweet potatoes from Saveur.com will also be coming from my kitchen. Marshmallows AND a brown sugar, nut top? Everyone will be happy!
Most importantly we’ll be reflecting on all that we have to be Thankful for this year. It’s been a full and incredible year and when I begin to list all that I am thankful for my heart nearly explodes.

What fun pictures! It’s hard for me to imagine snow… it’s 78 here in Texas right now! Have a happy Thanksgiving – don’t eat too much.
so the question is: Will you use sweet potatoes, or yams?? The photo looks yamish…..big controversy here in K town.

Oh, I am so jealous! It is in the 70s in Austin today. Not sure if I should pull out the shorts to be comfortable or put on a sweater in protest.
