The 2nd photograph is beautiful (well, they all are!) My sister gave me a sushi mat a really long time ago and i’ve never even taken it out of the packaging. Perhaps that’s because I have a great Japanese restaurant 3 blocks from my apartment that delivers! (NYC is great! have a wonderful time!)

I love your sushi photos. I never know where to buy the supplies for homemade sushi, and the one time I tried at my sisters house I couldn’t get the rolls tight enough. You are an expert!

While the sushi looks soo lovely, crossed chopsticks is bad etiquette. Just wanted to let you know. It brings bad luck and symbolizes death. Also, just fyi, never stick them straight up in your rice bowl because that is similar to sticking incenses in the sand, which pays respect to the death. Just a little chopstick lesson for you. =)
