Ashley- I am getting so excited for you. So many great things happening… I totally relate to the nesting part. I was the same way and my husband thought I was going insane! I love those photos. You are one lucky woman to have a husband photographer. They are too cute! And your garden… wonderful.

I just finished reading your whole blog! There was a lot I could identify with. I too am an artisan baker, self taught, bread being my focus. When you said you felt sheepish at not having formal training, I thought, gee, it doesn’t look like it hurt her any, then realized that people say the same thing about me. I suppose I should accept their compliments. I am a mother of 3, all school-age, but I do feel that pressure of wanting to spend time with my children and also wanting to delve further into the craft of bread-making. There is so much to know and I feel like I’m still just at the tip of the ice-berg! I am currently able to work out of a commercial set-up in my home, supplying the farmer’s market and two local shops with bread. I want to do more, but I’m not sure if now is the right time to expand (I’m thinking in terms of the economy). Sorry for the little digression there…it was just nice to find someone I could identify with!
